I found this project while I was searching github issues for opened issues about "logo, design".
We are free as in beer, freedom of speach and every other aspect of freedom (MIT or Apache license, we didn't decide yet)
Our primary color is #274C77, see some others here
We are a file sharing, management and storage solution, like Owncloud or Nextcloud (whose icon I really like)
We strive for simplicity. To us, Nextcloud is way to hard to install, manage and even use, therefore we want to provide a clean, understandable UI.
We use UIkit for our UI Framework
We'll use Material Design Icons for file icons ect..
After this short brief I take a look at owncloud and nextcloud logos.
Owncloud looks like uses bunch of O's and combine them as a cloud, these O's also evoke the idea of user data..
Same in Nextcloud, they used O's in different sizes like different user files, and ordered them one on other.
And I had two different idea in my mind, I want to use f letter in the cloud and try to keep it simple as possible as they wanted.
Here I couldn't be sure about end result, it was looking fine when I drew on paper, but in production they looked a bit off. So before I contact the project's developers. I want to have some feedback from our community.
