My First Holy Walk

The acts of Holy Week are events that took place in the life of Jesus, as is customary caraqueños go out to the street to visit the Christian temples and to witness how they stage these events, which are held in all parts of our country. In my tour through the center of my city, I could see a large number of parishioners who, despite the years, continue to maintain this tradition inherited from parents to children, from generation to generation, since colonial times. The churches, decorated according to Christian rites, receive thousands of faithful every day.

Mi Primera Caminata Santa

Los Actos de la Semana Santas son sucesos que acontecieron en la vida de Jesús, como es costumbre los caraqueños salimos a la calle a recorrer los templos cristianos y a presenciar como escenifican esos eventos, que se realizan en toda parte de nuestro país. En mi recorrido por el centro de mi ciudad, pude apreciar una gran cantidad de feligreses que, a pesar de los años, siguen manteniendo esta tradición heredada de padres a hijos, de generación en generación, desde tiempos de la colonia. Las iglesias, engalanadas según los ritos cristianos, reciben a miles de fieles todos estos días.

I was able to appreciate in the street, paths and square. Where they staged the life of Jesus, with the participation of a group of people dressed in costumes, veils and turbans, to stage torture ceremonies, through which Jesus went through throughout his preaching, according to the story. With the great fluency of the actors in their roles, they replicated these scenes with great naturalness, from the evangelization to his crucifixion and death.

Pude apreciar en la calle, senderos y plaza. Donde montaron en escena la vida de Jesús, con la participación de un grupo de personas vestidos con atuendos, velos y turbantes, para escenificar ceremonias de suplicios, por las que pasó Jesús a lo largo de su predicación, según cuenta la historia. Con la gran soltura de los actores metidos en sus papeles, replicaron esas escenas con gran naturalidad, desde la evangelización hasta su crucifixión y muerte.

Motivated by their presentations, I walked with them throughout the entire presentation through the Way of the Cross, an opportunity I had for reflection and to find myself. It was also a very healing experience, because for the first time, I attended a live show like this. This also allowed me to be part of the Actifit community, for the first time, with this publication, hoping it will be to your liking.

Motivado por sus presentaciones, caminé con ellos toda la presentación a través del viacrucis, una oportunidad que tuve para la reflexión y encontrarme conmigo mismo. Además, que fue una experiencia muy sanadora, porque por primera vez, asisto en vivo a un espectáculo como este. Esto me permitió también a formar parte de la comunidad de Actifit, por primera vez, con esta publicación, esperando sea de su agrado.
