We see the huge progress and impact player unknown battleground and Fornite brought with them to the gaming industry, it makes one wonder if any game been built as at now would be able to stand head to head with such games, we saw call of duty black ops4 making an impact and players thought that game was the new thing we all be looking for, but then it was a little expensive for gamers to purchase. Although the game did see a huge number of download and high users, then I wonder if that was actually the breakthrough we are looking for.
Hi guys and welcome to another beautiful day, today will be looking at Ring of Elysium, ROE for short.
So, saw this game a while back and my initial thought was that it was paid to play and also thought it was limited to mobile platform as at then, am talking about months back, when dlive still operated on the steem blockchain, usually watch streams on the game from random users but what the streamers all had in common was that they were not usually English oriented, meaning the game was probably Asia base, but man was I wrong.
Have played a familiar game where the population of English speaking user was really low and control was somehow hard to understand, can’t recall the game name again, one of those games you just try and forget the name I guess.
But looking at Ring of Elysium, I doubt am going to forget the game anytime soon, probably going to be the next game I download when I finally sort my internet connection problem right, been giving me a lot of issues recently.
That be said, the game looks amazing and am sure it would probably stand ground as related to games like player unknown battleground and fortnite with the beautiful scenery and fight game style it comes with, watching players play the game via YouTube makes the game all the more interesting, but probably edited clips as well, probably the user had to edit it to make it that beautiful, in other to attract viewers and also make them watch it.
But then the storyline looks pretty interesting as well.
If you a gamer or not but have watched or participated in a gameplay on player unknown battleground or fortnite, what both game lack is probably a reason to play it, rather than just the last man standing, you probably been asked once or twice why you play such games, and your response was usually the rush you get when attacking other players, but should gaming be all about that?
We played an adventure game, action and others be it solo or co-op what they usually had in common was an objective, something to keep the players playing and a form of achievement when such objective is completed, but then battle royale, usually limited to game skins, how much kills you can get and others.
Well it is fun but then having something to play towards should become interesting as well, we played Darwin project, which actually brought something fresh to player vs player game mode, with its survival gameplay, you were not just tasked to kill other player and be the last man standing on that game, but rather been able to survive the harsh condition the game brought with it.
Meaning you could be the best and also not win the game, due to not properly handling the game resources that came alongside it.

Let’s look at what Ring of Elysium has to offer.
Ring of Elysium is a first person shooter action battle royale based game where users will be prompted to kill other users in a restricted and limited map zone, but unlike other battle royale based game, the storyline is actually different.
Now unlike just killing players to be the best, meaning be the last man standing or your team, Ring of Elysium did something different, as a maximum of four players will end up winning the game and not just winning, they are needed to get into a plane and leave the island.
Trapped in a zone prone to natural disasters, with trouble at every turn, how far can you go to survive the situation that has fallen before you?
Each game will be open to sixty players, yea different from your 100 players limitations, probably going to get each session quickly and easily filled to get the game started with this less player amount or not, or probably since the game is fairly new when compared to others, in other to prevent a long time on queue, they decided to limit the maximum amount of players needed to start the game, hence the 60 players cap.
That been said, the game features or come with different equipment that will help you battle the harsh condition you now find yourself, the game is still based on you be able to defeat other players but this time, not just ground battle base, players will be able to battle from the air using hang gliders.
We see other games were hang glider was used as a means of transportation from one location to another, but am yet to see a game were players could actually get into combat while still air base, meaning you could take out players form the sky without them even been aware of your location, man how cool is that?
The game is free to play and currently available for download on steam, meaning you can get it instantly without having to pay a dime for it, but probably in-game money will be put in place, be it now or later, we see it happen on many free to play games, say them selling game skins, weapons and what have you.
Just hope the money wouldn’t cost that much, cause game skin usually what differentiates the newbie from the old and mastered players, no one like to be that newbie xd.
That been said, from the little have seen about the game, surely the game is a must get and if I do download the game, will be sure to update you guys about it and also a username if you looking to go on a party game.
