Sundown Triptych • Magic Hour

The desert is a magical place at sundown when the intense heat disappears without a trace and the nocturnal creatures prepare to venture out into the world.

I created a horizontal triptych above and a vertical triptych below with the same photographs.

The horizontal seems more in tune with the desert landscape even though the blog window makes it very small. The vertical, on the other hand, seems like a film strip with quick cuts so maybe less appropriate for a peaceful moment.

What do you think... Horizontal or Vertical?

I photographed the desert sundown with my Canon 5D camera and 70-200 mm lens.
