Rusty Object Mojave • Monomad

I shot this object on the desert floor last week. Its a rusty piece of iron from and unknown source. It could have been hardware from a door or a piece of furniture but now its breaking down and integrating into the desert sand.

The color image clearly shows the layers of decay.

I photographed the rusty object with my Canon 5D camera and 70-200 mm lens.

Thank you @brumest for creating the Monomad Photo Contest!

Thanks for the art @overkillcoin... minnows, dolphins, whales... I’m down with squid!
