Mesquite With A Twist • Monomad

I shot this twisted piece of mesquite in the Mojave desert last month. The mesquite is a hardy little tree known for a distinct smokey flavor it adds while cooking meat.

I shot another angle of the same branch. I moved the camera up and to the left. Can you tell?

I photographed the mesquite branch with my Canon 5D camera and 70-200 mm lens.
