Saludos amigos y amigas de la comunidad

@motherhood . Como me gustaría tener mas tiempo o mas organización para poder compartir con uds tantos pensamientos acerca de la crianza y paternidad, al menos en mi experiencia. Pero bueno, no siempre hay tiempo para todo. Sin embargo, el día de hoy quise publicar algo muy especial, sobre la carta a Santa Claus/Niño Jesus etc..

Greetings friends of the @motherhood community. How I wish I had more time or more organization to be able to share with you so many thoughts about parenting, at least in my experience. But well, there is not always time for everything. However, today I wanted to post something very special, about the letter to Santa Claus/Boy Jesus etc..

LA ILUSIÓN DE LA NAVIDAD / THE CHRISTMAS ILLUSION

No se como eran uds antes de tener hijos pero al menos yo era un poco indiferente con las fechas navideñas, un poco al estilo Grinch jeje sin embargo, después de ser padre y ver la ilusión y la felicidad con la que los niños esperan los regalos de navidad, y ver como disfruta de la unión familiar me hizo ver las cosas de una manera mas sentimental por asi decirlo. Ayer mi hijo hizo su carta a Santa Claus, aunque en nuestra cultura es el niño Jesús pues mi hijo prefiere pedirle sus juguetes a Santa y no le veo nada de malo. Así que ayer lo acompañábamos mientras le ayudábamos a hacer su carta, el tiene 4 años y medio y aun no escribe bien. Al terminar la carta la pintó y la puso en el arbolito de navidad

I don't know how you were before having children but at least I was a little indifferent to the Christmas season, a little Grinch style hehe however, after becoming a father and seeing the illusion and happiness with which children wait for Christmas gifts, and seeing how they enjoy the family togetherness made me see things in a more sentimental way so to speak. Yesterday my son wrote his letter to Santa Claus, although in our culture it is the baby Jesus, my son prefers to ask Santa for his toys and I don't see anything wrong with that. So yesterday we accompanied him while we helped him make his letter, he is 4 and a half years old and still doesn't write well. When he finished the letter he painted it and put it on the Christmas tree.

Pasamos la noche de ayer disfrutando de las travesuras de mi hijo, una de las cosas que trato es que no ande descalzo pero parece una misión imposible. El día de ayer no conseguíamos las chancletas y pues andaba descalzo por todos lados. Gracias a dios contamos con el apoyo de la familia quienes también nos apoyaran para que esa lista de regalos se pueda comprar, uds me entienden. Este diciembre gracias a dios pude salir de una mala racha laboral y pude comprar junto a su mama las cosas necesarias, ropa, zapatos, comida etc.. la carta a Santa Claus tenia varias cosas. Un piano mediano, un robot y un mini-DRON. Me gusta ver su sonrisa, y verlo feliz.

We spent last night enjoying my son's antics, one of the things I try to keep him from going barefoot but it seems like an impossible mission. Yesterday we couldn't get flip flops and he was barefoot everywhere. Thank God we have the support of the family who will also support us so that this list of gifts can be purchased, you know what I mean. This December, thanks to God, I was able to get out of a bad working period and together with his mother I was able to buy the necessary things, clothes, shoes, food, etc. The letter to Santa Claus had several things. A medium piano, a robot and a mini-DRON. I like to see his smile, and see him happy.

Sin duda, no hay nada mas sanador que ver la felicidad en el rostro de nuestros hijos. No hay moneda en el mundo que compre ese sentimiento. Ya los regalos están por allí escondidos, esperando el 25 de diciembre para que puedan ser destapados. La navidad mas allá de cualquier cosa, nos da la excusa perfecta para celebrar la vida y la unión familiar, como también de recordar con cariño a quienes ya no nos acompañan.

Without a doubt, there is nothing more healing than seeing the happiness on our children's faces. There is no currency in the world that can buy that feeling. The presents are already hidden away, waiting for December 25th so they can be unwrapped. Christmas, beyond anything else, gives us the perfect excuse to celebrate life and family togetherness, as well as to remember with affection those who are no longer with us.
