God's Fault or Yours?

A man stumbles and falls occasionally in his life, sometimes things just don't work out and sometimes, things do not happen when we want them to. When life gets tough, it's not a sign that we have been forgotten or neglected. Life is not a bed of roses and the singular fact that you're a christian does not stop you from experiencing life as it is. Our Lord himself had challenges and went through hardships. He wasn't born wealthy, his earthly father was a carpenter and so Jesus did woodwork. Whenever his hammer missed the nail and fell on his flesh, i do not think that he began to feel neglected by God or forsaken. Pain and hardship are all a part of life and this doesn't mean that we should accept them as permanent entities in our lives. There are certain rules that govern the earth such as "he who doesn't work will not eat" now it is up to you to play your part and look to God for blessings and favor in the aftermath. The bible says in Heb 11:6

But without faith, it is impossible to please him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him

So many people get the wrong idea that all you need to do is have faith and pray and you will have whatever you wish for but they forget that the same bible in James 2:17 says:

Even so, faith if it hath not works is dead

This here tells us that God is not in support of empty faith.

You cannot just walk up to a company and say you want them to endorse your business idea when you have not documented it or drafted out a concrete business plan, well actually you could, but I wouldn't expect any positive feedback if I were you. So also, going to God in prayers for something without a source or medium to receive it or without working towards it is an absolute waste of time.

He has promised to bless the labor of our hands and not the thoughts of our heart. It is one thing to think and another thing to do. Doing something about the idea that God has laid in your heart is an expression of faith in God!
Work according to the will of the Father, live purposefully today and stop being a lazy person. All things that He has, He has giving freely unto us! If you're not where you feel you ought to be today, it's not because of God, rather it's because of you! He has and will never fail. He is faithful always, even when we are not.
