Hello science lovers, I usually bring content related to the topic of "Zoology" because it is my specialty, but today I wanted to bring something different while I was walking along a path I took two wild plants to study them and see their appearance under the microscope, things will surprise you interesting that it hides (Rubus fruticosus) that has been a European blackberry that grows in practically almost the entire country! my intention in the post is to see the characteristics of the plant, leaf and fruit.🍇🧠👨‍🏫

Hola amantes de la ciencia, normalmente traigo contenido referente al topico de "Zoologia" porque es mi especialidad, pero hoy quise traer algo diferente mientras caminaba haciendo un sendero tome dos plantas silvestres para estudiarlas y ver su aspecto bajo el microscopio, te sorprendera las cosas interesantes que esconde (Rubus fruticosus) que viene siendo una mora europea que crece en practicamente casi todo el pais! mi intencion en el post es ver las caracteristicas de la planta, hoja y fruto.🔬👨‍🏫🌲🌷👨‍💻

Taxonomy🙇‍♂️🍇/ Taxonomia👨‍🏫📚

There are some varieties of blackberries but the one that predominates here in Portugal is the (Rubus fruticosus), which differs from (Rubus ulmifolius) because it has (five leaflets), as you can see in the photo I took, the plant has a central axis and then presents 3 (leaflets) therefore it is classified as: (monopinnate-imparinate) since "its branch" ends in a single leaf being odd! according to the taxonomy classification it belongs to the "rosaceae" and its origin is European! there are those who say that they are considered "pests since they do not allow other plants to grow around them".🤯😨👨‍💻
Existen algunas variedades de moras pero la que predonima aqui en Portugal es la (Rubus fruticosus), que se diferencia de (Rubus ulmifolius) porque presenta (cinco foliolos), como puedes observar en la foto que tome la planta tiene un eje central y luego presenta 3 (foliolos) por tanto se clasifica como: (monopinada-imparinada) ya que "su rama" termina en una sola hoja siendo impar! segun la clasificacion taxonimomica pertenece a las " rosáceas" y su origen es Europeo! hay quienes dicen que son consideradas "plagas ya que no permiten crecer otras plantas a su alrededor".🙇‍♂️😮👨‍🏫

You have to do a little research to avoid making the mistake of confusing a blackberry with a "common berry" in botany because of the way the fruit is arranged, it is classified as (polydrupe fruit), this means that small drupes form around the cluster being a drupe (the carpels form several drupeoles); "the flowers are white or also pink" sometimes we see blackberries with different colors (green, black or red). In reality, it is a phase of fruit maturation, with the green berries being the immature ones and the black ones being the ripe fruit, the red ones being in the intermediate phase of maturation!🧠👨‍💻
Hay que investigar un poco para no cometer el error de confundir una mora con una "baya comun" en botanica por la forma en como se dispone la fruta es clasificada como (fruto polidrupa), esto quiere decir que se forman pequeñas drupas alrededor del racimo siendo una drupa (los carpelos forman varios drupeolas); "las flores son blancas o tambien rosado" aveces vemos moras con diferentes colores (Verdes, negra o rojas). En realidad es una fase de maduracion del fruto siendo las moras verdes las inmaduras y las negras el fruto maduro, las rojas estan en fase intermedia de maduracion!🖤💚💖

Here we see a longitudinal section of the fruit of Rubus fruticosus as you can see the central part corresponds to the seed, towards the sides grow the small "balls" that would be the drupes, these globose bodies contain a lot of parenchyma and are rich in sugars and vitamins, the layer that surrounds the seed can be called the "fleshy body" which would be the "pulp" and there are no seeds here!👨‍🏫👨‍💻🍇
Aqui vemos un corte longitudinal de la fruta de Rubus fruticosus como puedes ver la parte central corresponde a la semilla, hacia los lados crecen las pequeñas "bolitas" que serian las drupas, esos cuerpos globosos contienen mucho parenquima y son ricos en azucares y vitaminas, la capa que rodea la semilla se le puede "denominar cuerpo carnoso" que seria la "pulpa" y no hay presencia de semillas aqui!🧠🌷🌲☘

With the naked eye when we place a cut of the "blackberry pulp" we only see this! It is difficult to differentiate the parenchyma but when we increase the magnification we begin to see the differentiation tissues. Let us remember that the nutrients in a fruit are not in its seed but in its pulp, do you know why?🤩😨🔬🧫
A simple vista cuando colocamos un corte de la "pulpa de la mora" solo vemos esto! es dificil diferenciar los parenquimas pero cuando vamos subiendo el aumento comenzamos a ver los tejidos de diferenciacion recordemos que los nutrientes en una fruta no estan en su semilla si no en su pulpa sabes por que??💥💥💦

What happens is that the nutrients of the fruits are found in the fleshy tissue and not in the seed, it is because here there is a "differential tissue that is capable of storing substances" and such is the case of the reserve parequima, the function is to be able Nutrient storage usually occurs in the cell wall in fruits but can be stored in other parts of the plant such as the stem! they are rich in sugars, vitamins, lipids!😮😮
Lo que sucede es que los nutrientes de las frutas se encuentran en el tejido carnoso y no en la semilla es porque aqui se encuentra un "tejido diferencial que es capaz de almacenar sustancias" y tal es el caso del parequima de reserva la funcion es poder almacenar nutrientes generalmente ocurre en la pared celular en frutas pero puede ser almacenado en otras partes de la planta como por ejemplo el tallo! son ricos en azucares, vitaminas, lipidos!💥💦

This plant is "woody" and quite "invasive", it is characterized because its branches and stem are full of "thorns", the leaves are "Pinnate" as you can see in the photo they have some "teeth" the leaflets "are oval"🍃🍃
Esta planta es "leñosa" y bastante "invasiva", se caracteriza porque sus ramas y tallo estan llenas de "espinas", las hojas son "Pinnadas" como puedes ver en la foto tienen algunos "dientes" los foliolos "son ovales" 🍁🍂
