Hola hola amigos! ante todo feliz año, espero que este 2023 este lleno de cosas positivas para todos vosotros! este es mi primer post en la comunidad cervantes y lo hago trayendo como siempre contenido muy interesante y en este caso "demasiado delicioso"! viaje a la ciudad de Obidos a mas de 120km de mi hogar para visitar la feria de navidad aqui en la ciudad amurallada y al mismo tiempo probar uno de los mejores chocolates artesanales de Portugal.🤩🚩🕍

Ya habia visitado la aldea de Obidos en otras oportunidades pero nunca a esta altura del año, aun estamos en epocas decembrinas y podemos degustar muchas comidas tipicas del pais, como por ejemplo la bebida deliciosa llamada Ginja y algunos chocolates artesanales de diferentes sabores, todo esto lo podemos encontrar en esta hermosa ciudad! estoy entusiasmado porque es mi primera visita en el mes de enero cuando aun esta decorado de navidad la aldea!🏰🎈🎁🎄
I had already visited the village of Obidos on other occasions but never at this time of the year, we are still in December and we can taste many typical foods of the country, such as the delicious drink called Ginja and some handmade chocolates of different flavors, all this we can find it in this beautiful city! I am excited because it is my first visit in January when the village is still decorated for Christmas!🍫🕍
No quiero redundar en explicar la historia de la ciudad porque ya lo hice en un post hace dos años, pero en resumen Obidos es una ciudad amurallada que hace muchos siglos un rey de Portugal le ofreció a su esposa como regalo de cumpleaños! ¡Hoy la ciudad está muy bien conservada y es uno de los sitios más visitados del país! Puedes dar un paseo de treinta minutos y recorrer toda la muralla, ¡es una experiencia agradable porque tienes una vista de 360 grados de todo el territorio portugués!🏰🎈🎁
I don't want to redound explaining the history of the city because I already did it in a post two years ago, but in summary Obidos is a walled city that many centuries ago a king of Portugal offered to his wife as a birthday present! Today the city is very well preserved and is one of the most visited sites in the country! You can take a thirty-minute walk and walk around the entire wall, it's a nice experience because you have a 360-degree view of the entire Portuguese territory!🤩🍷🚩

Caminar entre la pequeña aldea suele ser espectacular y magico! las calles te transportan a la era medieval y hay muchos negocios locales vendiendo articulos medievales, si te gusta la gastronomia portuguesa entonces hay algunos restaurantes famosos al igual que algunas confiteria🧠🌍
Walking through the small village is usually spectacular and magical! the streets transport you to the medieval era and there are many local businesses selling medieval items, if you like Portuguese gastronomy then there are some famous restaurants as well as some sweet shops📚🕵️♂️

Bienvenidos al "Obidos Chocolat House" llegastes a ver la pelicula "willy wonka?" bueno cuando entramos aqui en esta fabrica de chocolate tenemos un ambiente demasido divertido, ellos producen sus propios dulces y como puedes ver tienen algunos record por crear esculturas usando unicamente el chocolate, aqui puedes ver un hermoso carro antiguo y un señor! ademas de probar algunos dulces pedimos Ginja para beber que es una bebida tipica de Portugal!🏰🍰🍫

Que deliciosa experiencia probe algunos dulces variados individuales, mi esposa compartio conmigo una copa de Ginja una bebida hecha a base de Guindas que es como una cereza! este licor es como un digestivo muy bueno despues de un almuerzo pesado! la tradicion tiene siglos porque desde la epoca Romana ya se habia introducido el licor al pais y luego cuando Portugal se independiza la bebida se mantuvo durante muchas generacion y hoy en dia es muy popular entre los turistas!🧭🕍🎈🍷🍷
What a delicious experience I tried some individual assorted sweets, my wife shared with me a glass of Ginja a drink made from Cherries that is like a cherry! This liqueur is like a very good digestive after a heavy lunch! The tradition is centuries old because since Roman times the liquor had already been introduced to the country and then when Portugal became independent the drink was maintained for many generations and today it is very popular among tourists!🌍🍷🍷

Si te gustan las iglesias y cosas de ese tipo entonces no te aburriras en la aldea porque fueron construidas 4 iglesias, no entiendo porque pero me imagino que las personas son muy catolicas! lo cierto es que no todas las iglesias fueron construidas en el mismo siglo unas son medievales y otras mas recientes del finales del XVIII.🌍🍷
If you like churches and things like that then you won't get bored in the village because 4 churches were built, I don't understand why but I guess the people are very Catholic! The truth is that not all the churches were built in the same century, some are medieval and others are more recent from the end of the 18th century.🕍🕍
Luego de comer nuestros deliciosos postres decidimos caminar por las calles, aqui dentro hay un castillo que es el "castillo de obidos" actualmente esta cerrado pero ya entre por tanto no me perdi de nada! Obidos tienen muchas ferias que van cambiando con los meses desde la feria del chocolate hasta la feria medieval por tanto siempre es interesante visitar la aldea ya que siempre vas a ver cosas diferentes!🎈🌍🍷🕍
After eating our delicious desserts we decided to walk through the streets, inside here there is a castle that is the "castle of Obidos" it is currently closed but in the meantime I did not miss anything! Obidos has many fairs that change with the months from the chocolate fair to the medieval fair so it is always interesting to visit the village as you will always see different things!🏯🏰🏰
