Hola amigos viajeros, estoy contento por traerles este fantastico post donde hice un recorrido de un dia entero por las hermosas calles de Leiria, una ciudad muy antigua y bastante visitada aqui en Portugal, entre las cosas que me fascinaron de la ciudad de Leiria fue su hermosa arquitectura medieval, cuando vas al centro de la ciudad te topas con el sitio turistico mas visitado se trata del (Castillo de Leiria); en mi opinion es uno de los mas bonitos de Portugal junto con el de Lisboa! acompañame para mostrarte las mejores vistas de la ciudad!🕍🧭

My adventure starts here practically in the center of the city! If you want it to be more exact on the street (Cristiano Cruz), and it is the best point to start an adventure in the city, I chose it because firstly you have free parking very close to the castle, then we have about five places of tourist and historical interest for visit therefore we will take a walk of approximately 1.30 hours to visit everything! I don't mind the sun or the summer heat for long walks, but you have the option of taking the bus, or any other public transport! you can save some euros if you walk!💥🕍🚩
Mi aventura inicia aqui practicamente en el centro de la ciudad! si quieres que sea mas exacto en la calle (Cristiano Cruz), y es el mejor punto para iniciar una aventura en la ciudad, lo escogi porque primeramente tienes estacionamiento gratis muy proximo del castillo, luego tenemos unos cinco sitios de interes turisticos e historicos para visitar por tanto realizaremos una caminada de aproximadamente 1.30 horas para visitar todo! no me molesta el sol ni el calor de verano para hacer largas caminatas pero tienes la opcion de tomar el autobus, o cualquier otro transporte publico! puedes ahorrar algunos euros si vas caminando!🚩🌏🏯🏰

After leaving my car parked I walked down the main road to get to my first tourist stop! It was the beautiful castle of Leiria, and in the distance I could already see its medieval structure! Like any castle, it was built on the highest point in Leiria to protect the city from enemy invasions! This castle is important for tourism in the city because it receives more than 80,000 visits per year.😲🌲🌏
Luego de dejar mi carro estacionado camine por la carretera principal para llegar a mi primera parada turistica! se trataba del hermoso castillo de Leiria, y a lo lejos ya podia ver su estructura medieval! como cualquier castillo fue construido en el sitio mas alto de Leiria para proteger la ciudad de invasiones enemigas! este castillo es importante para el turismo de la ciudad porque recibe mas de 80mil visitas por año.👨🏫👸🤴

I have to admit that my mouth was "literally open" when I asked the price to enter the castle, it barely cost 2.5 euros and included a visit to the "Museum of Movement, Archaeological Museum", and as a Portuguese I have to accept that our tourist sites are very expensive For example, visiting the zoological garden today is 30 euros! Well, paying little is one reason why I wanted to visit Leiria. Who doesn't like to see nice "cheap" things?😲😅🌲🌏
Tengo que admitir haberme quedado con la boca "literalmente abierta" cuando pregunte el precio para entrar al castillo apenas costaba 2.5euros e incluia una visita al "Museo del movimiento, museo arqueologico", y como Portugues tengo que aceptar que nuestros sitios turisticos son carisimos por ejemplo visitar el jardin zoologico hoy en dia son 30 euros! bueno pagar poco es una razon por las que quise visitar Leiria quien no gusta de ver cosas lindas "baratas"?🤣👸🤴

Y aqui estamos listos para entrar en el castillo! luego de realizar el pago tienes acceso a las murallas, el interior del castillo, el jardin y una iglesia restaurada con mas de 500 años! aqui hay mucha historia este es uno de los castillos mas antiguos de Portugal fue mandado a construir por el primer rey osea en el "1135", en aquella altura el pais estaba bajo el poder "arabico"! Everything here is well thought out! if you have any motor problem or "physical disability" don't worry I know you have to climb about 500 meters high but there is an elevator that allows you to go up and down! therefore if you are an elderly person you have no excuse to visit the castle! what a beautiful landscape right? next to the castle was built the "soccer stadium of leiria"😲😅🌲🌏
Todo aqui esta bien pensado! si tienes algun problema motor o "discapacidad fisica" no te preocupes se que tienes que subir alrededor de 500 metros de altura pero hay un elevador que te permite subir y bajar! por tanto si eres una persona de tercera edad no tienes excusa para visitar el castillo! que lindo paisaje no? a lado del castillo fue construido el "estadio de futbol de leiria"🤣👸🤴

La ciudad de leiria fue fundada en "1135" y se caracteriza porque esta ubicada al lado del rio "Lis", hay quienes no ven a Leiria como una ciudad propiamente turistica pero yo me opongo a esa afirmacion! aqui hay muy buenos hoteles, excelentes discotecas, una comida local muy buena! el clima tambien caracteristico del centro del pais ni muy caliente ni muy frio! muy economica en comparacion con Porto y Lisboa! mientras aqui almuerzas por 7 euros en Lisboa 12 euros!🧭🚙🏆🤑

La catedral tiene secciones en el techo donde puedes ver diferentes años, desde el siglo 15 hasta el siglo 18 se fueron realizando varias modificaciones y tuvo que pasar tambien por una restauracion debido al gran terremoto que sacudio a Portugal en 1755! ha sobrevivido a muchos desastres naturales incluyendo incendios en la region! en la ciudad de leiria puedes encontrar mas de 10 iglesias catolicas todas muy bonitas!😏😏

Creo que esta parte ya es opcional porque son muy pocos los turistas que vienen para Leiria a visitar el museo! pero yo que soy adicto al conocimiento no me lo podia perder! practicamente aqui se cuenta toda la historia de la ciudad durante millones de años! Recuerdas cuando te comente que si compras el billete para el castillo tienes acceso gratis a este museo?? bueno asi fue... El museo del movimiento esta a un par de kilometros del castillo y digamos que es un espacio mas de "diversion" que educativo! no me gusto mucho! pero si vienes con niños pequeños van adorar creo que el tema de la fotografia y el cine no es algo que a mi me "enamora" pero si a ti te gusta eres bienvenido! aqui hay camaras fotograficas con muchos años de antiguedad 🎡🎠🎥🎬

Ten cuidado cuando sales a caminar por el casco central no pierdas nocion del tiempo! cuando acabe mi recorrido eran las 16:00 a esa hora es dificil conseguir abierto algun restaurante de "calle" por lo que solo tuvimos la opcion de comer aqui en (Brasario), y fue barato el menu con bebida 8euros, mi plato se llama (Plato full) y practicamente le colocan todo lo que venden xD una buena opcion si estas con mucha hambre!🍻🥘🧆🍜🥩

Fue una gran experiencia y realice muchas actividades, sabes cuanto gaste hoy? menos de 20 euros...
