They say that the occasions are painted bald and in this particular one the play has gone round. I had been watching the pond for some time and waited until the mallard was stationed in an apparent stance as a gatekeeper or watchman for the beautiful castle on the island. I was amused by that situation while some ducks and geese approached me, curious about what I was doing. Kneeling, sometimes squatting and dodging the separation rail with the water, they watched me carefully. I have to say that he also had a bag of corn worms hidden up his sleeve to force the situation, to achieve that forced, non-casual image.
That position just in front of the castle gate reminded me of certain circumstances that I have seen or experienced on some occasions. It gave me the feeling that this bird had control over everything that happened around it or that, in its animal instinct, it pretended. I saw the pigeons, ducks, geese and sparrows before they were drawn by people who were there with me, they portrayed on paper what I was collecting with my camera. I looked at one of the drawings and it was a large gray dove posing in front of it and seeming to be happy to be noticed.
Once in editing, use a special filter with a very bluish tone and then counteract the result by modifying it with a touch of yellow to achieve a faint chalk. This process is one of the ones I like the most because when I modify these parameters I always find different nuances that I like for my photography and editing work. I also use a set of brushes to highlight dark areas and darken overly light areas to soften both ends.

Dicen que las ocasiones las pintan calvas y en esta en concreto la jugada ha salido redonda. Llevaba un tiempo observando el estanque y esper茅 a que el 谩nade estuviera apostado en una aparente postura de portero o de vigilancia del hermoso castillo de la isla. Me hac铆a gracia aquella situaci贸n mientras algunos patos y ocas se acercaban a m铆, curiosos por lo que estaba haciendo. Arrodillado, a veces en cuclillas y sorteando la barandilla de separaci贸n con el agua me observaban detenidamente. He de decir que tambi茅n ten铆a escondida en la manga una bolsa de gusanitos de ma铆z para forzar la situaci贸n, conseguir esa imagen forzada no casual.
Aquella postura justo delante de la puerta del castillo me record贸 ciertas circunstancias que en algunas ocasiones he visto o he vivido. Me daba la sensaci贸n que esta ave ten铆a el control sobre todo lo que pasaba a su alrededor o eso, en su instinto animal, pretend铆a. Ve铆a a las palomas, patos, ocas y gorriones antes de ser dibujadas por personas que estaba all铆 conmigo, ellas retrataban en papel lo que yo estaba recogiendo con mi c谩mara. Me fije en uno de los dibujos y era una gran paloma gris que posaba delante y que parec铆a estar contenta de que se fijaran en ella.
Ya una vez en edici贸n usar un filtro especial con un tono muy azulado para despu茅s contrarrestar el resultado modificando con un toque de amarillo para lograr un gis tenue. Este proceso es uno de los que m谩s me gusta porque cuando modifico estos par谩metros siempre encuentro matices distintos que me gustan para mis trabajos de fotograf铆a y edici贸n. Uso tambi茅n un juego de pinceles para resaltar zonas oscuras y dar m谩s oscuridad a zonas demasiado iluminadas para suavizar ambos extremos, saludos amigos.
