Today I bring you the illustrative process of a commission I had recently, I really liked the look and the color palette with which I worked, it was also one of those illustrations where I wanted to practice a little the textures and at the same time try to make the hair a little different, all this without leaving the parameters of what the client wanted, for my luck some give me the freedom to create something nice for them, and with it I try to practice something else. Without more to say, I share with you the process.

Hoy les traigo el proceso ilustrativo de un encargo que tuve hace poco, me gustó mucho el look y la paleta de colores con la que trabajé, también fue una de esas ilustraciones donde quise practicar un poco las texturas y a la vez tratar de hacer el cabello un poco diferente, todo esto sin salirme de los parámetros de lo que el cliente quería, para mi suerte algunos me dan la libertad de crear algo bonito para ellos, y con ello trato de practicar algo más. Sin más que decir, les comparto el proceso.
I started with the sketch and placing the base colors, this time I worked with a cold color palette but going more towards purple and lilac tones for the skin. There are times that I have small complications with the faces, still nothing of my art is perfect hehe, but I try to do my best, so I was accommodating these small details, mostly it was in her eyes, these I had to move them a little with the lasso tool and go painting and improving some little things of lights and shadows. All this process and work paid off, I was totally in love with how her eyes turned out.
Empecé con el boceto y colocando los colores base, esta vez trabajé con una paleta de colores fríos pero yendo más hacia tonos morados y lilas para la piel. Hay veces que tengo pequeñas complicaciones con los rostros, aun nada de mi arte es perfecto jeje, pero trato de hacerlo lo mejor posible, asi que fui acomodando estos pequeños detalles, mayormente era en sus ojos, estos tuve que moverlos un poco con la herramienta lazo e ir pintando y mejorando algunas cositas de luces y sombras. Todo este proceso y trabajo valió la pena, quedé totalmente enamorada de como quedaron sus ojos.
Then I did her hair, this time I tried not to do it hair by hair, but I tried to practice doing it by big strands, and then I noticed that I had done it very bluish so I had to play with the lighting and the saturation of it, and that was it :3.
Luego le hice el cabello, esta vez intenté no hacerlo pelo a pelo, sino que intenté practicar haciéndolo por mechones grandes, y luego me di cuenta de que lo había hecho muy azulado así que tuve que jugar con la iluminación y la saturación del mismo, y listo :3.
Her outfit is somewhat formal, I was giving different textures on it and adding some sewing details and small embroideries. And as you can see for the background I was playing with the colors wine and blue, but in the end I went more for a cream color, for some reason I liked it better this way. Su traje es algo formal, le fui dando diferentes texturas y añadiendo algunos detalles de costura y pequeños bordados. Y como pueden ver para el fondo estuve jugando con los colores vino y azul, pero al final me fui mas por un color crema, por alguna razon me gusto mas asi.
