Hola, hoy vuelvo bien contento ya que compré herramientas nuevas, sé que un cautín y un multímetro no es la gran cosa, aunque nunca había tenido unos propios y me hace mucha ilusión mostrárselos y contarles la historia detrás de mi compra. Si estás pensando en comprarte herramientas como estas te recomiendo que leas con calma, porque tengo un par de consejos y muchas críticas que hacer con respecto al tema 👀

Por algo hay que empezar y te voy a mostrar esto, el cautín. Éste concretamente es de 40 watts, aunque no se exactamente como explicarlo, sé que es algo bueno. Significa que calienta relativamente rápido y conserva muy bien el calor. Me costó 2.70$, si, muy poco y es debido a que el mango no está hecho del mejor plástico posible y a que solo trae una punta. Ahora te contaré un secreto, hay unos en el mercado que cuestan 15$ y son absolutamente iguales, entonces si no vas a utilizarlo de manera profesional, uno económico será suficiente si tienes varias precauciones al utilizarlo.

Si es la primera vez que compras uno, ésto te parecerá extraño, aunque es bastante normal que la primera vez eche humo durante unos minutos, es porque se está quemando la grasa de las manos y parte de la cera que trae una tela especial que trae por dentro.
También, si miras con atención, yo lo coloqué en una base que consta simplemente de 2 aros de alambre que lo suspende en el aire, esto evita que la punta se dañe y que quemes la mesa por ejemplo. Algo a tener en cuenta es que debe utilizarse caliente, el estaño no debe presionarse, el es capaz de derretirlo con solo tocarlo. Por último, recomiendo siempre utilizarlo y desconectarlo, estos económicos no tienen un regulador termico o algo por el estilo, asi que lo mas recomendable es no dejarlo conectado por horas y horas sin necesidad.

Ahí les va el cuento, yo inicialmente quería comprar el multímetro mas basico y económico, que es ese amarillo que ven a la izquierda por tan solo 5$. Yo esperaba conseguirlo en 8$, ya que vivo en un pueblo lejos de la capital y de las fronteras y es normal que todo sea mas caro, bueno me decepcioné un poco de vivir en Monagas, 19$ me querian cobrar por ese que cuesta 5$ en otros Estados.
Caminé muchos sitios y no conseguía ninguno parecido, conseguí puros que rondaban los 15$ y eran honestamente una basura. Entonces caí por casualidad en El Potente de Monagas, donde pude comprar el que verán a continuación en tan solo 13$, ¿Es lo que buscaba? Honestamente no, aunque fué el único sitio que me trataron con amabilidad y donde el precio no era tan exagerado comparándolo con el de Mercado Libre.

I expected to get it for $8, since I live in a town far from the capital and the borders and it's normal for everything to be more expensive, well I was a little disappointed living in Monagas, they wanted to charge me $19 for that one that costs $5 $ in other states.
I've been to a lot of places and couldn't find anything like it, I got cigars that were around $15 and they were honestly rubbish. So I stumbled upon El Potente de Monagas, where I was able to buy the one you will see below for only $13. Is it what you were looking for? Honestly no, although it was the only place that treated me with kindness and where the price was not so exaggerated compared to Mercado Libre.
Fíjate, la diferencia de este y el de 5$ que viste anteriormente es la calidad de construcción. El plástico es bastante fuerte, aunque no lo queremos para usarlo de pelota, así que al momento de comprar algo asi hay que fijarnos en otras cosas y las mas importantes son la calidad de los cables. Ya que si son de mala calidad pueden tener mas resistencia que otros y causar variación en las mediciones, estos son decentes, no perfectos, aunque si bastante decentes.
Otra cosa a tener en cuenta es la pantalla, si lo notas esta es.. ¿Lisa?, No se como explicarlo, pero el de 5$ tiene la tipica pantalla de calculadora de mala calidad y no está mal, aunque suelen durar mucho menos y son muy propensas a dañarse por humedad. Ten en cuenta que tu puedes controlar que no se te caiga, pero no si llueve mientras estas en la calle.
Por último, te lo pido por favor, procura que utilice baterías AA o AAA, son las mas baratas y si tenemos algo de maña, podemos adaptar un USB para que funcione a 3 voltios sin mayores complicaciones o utilizar baterías recargables, lo cual es aun mejor. Hay otros que utilizan la batería cuadrada de 9 voltios y honestamente son muy caras para lo inútiles que son 😂
Mind you, the difference between this and the $5 one you saw above is the build quality. The plastic is quite strong, although we don't want it to use as a ball, so when buying something like this you have to look at other things and the most important are the quality of the cables. Since if they are of poor quality they can have more resistance than others and cause variation in the measurements, these are decent, not perfect, although they are quite decent.
Another thing to take into account is the screen, if you notice it, this is it... Lisa? and are very prone to damage by moisture. Keep in mind that you can control that you do not drop it, but not if it rains while you are on the street.
Finally, I ask you please, try to use AA or AAA batteries, they are the cheapest and if we have some skill, we can adapt a USB to work at 3 volts without major complications or use rechargeable batteries, which is still better. There are others that use the square 9 volt battery and honestly they are very expensive for how useless they are 😂

A mi en lo personal los unboxing sin proyecto no me gustan, ya que considero que para mostrar algo simplemente puedo tomarle fotos en un estante o pedirle a la dependienta que me lo muestre. Entonces, aqui lo que se compra se utiliza y tenía ya semanas queriendo realizar un bombillo USB, no sabría decir como lo utilizaré porque no tengo un Power Bank donde conectarlo, aunque me hace ilusión también 😂
Personally, I don't like unboxing without a project, since I consider that to show something I can simply take photos of it on a shelf or ask the saleswoman to show it to me. So, what you buy is used here and I had been wanting to make a USB light bulb for weeks now, I couldn't say how I'm going to use it because I don't have a Power Bank to connect it to, although I'm also excited 😂
Fíjate, yo no tengo muy claro todavía como usar el multímetro, seguramente cuando veas ésto yo estaré viendo videos de Terrazo Cultor en Youtube para aprender a utilizarlo. Lo que si sé es que si colocas la flecha apuntando a ese símbolo que ven, sirve para probar diodos y continuidad. Es decir, me sirve para probar estos LEDS que tengo cortados de bombillas que se han ido dañando, ¡No mas bateria AA y trozos de cable! 😂

What I do know is that if you place the arrow pointing to that symbol that you see, it is used to test diodes and continuity. That is, it helps me to test these LEDS that I have cut from bulbs that have been damaged, no more AA batteries and pieces of cable! 😂

Honestamente éste es un trabajo muy sencillo para colocarlo en un post individual, simplemente hay que conectar todos los positivos juntos y todos los negativos juntos, (¿Esto es conexión en serie o en paralelo? 🤔) Y posteriormente conectarles un cable USB que tengamos roto por casa ☺️

Luego pegamos los LEDS ya soldados con silicón caliente en una carcasa de un bombillo quemado y listo para usar. Yo estoy utilizando el bombillo que sacrificamos para la lámpara de mesa en el post anterior.
Repito, no tengo idea si esto sea útil, aunque me da la idea para crear una tira de LEDS para pegarla en el borde superior de mi laptop y así no tener que encender la luz en las videollamadas, no lo sé, tal vez haga un aro de luz.. ¡El cielo es el límite!
