May the peace, love and joy of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.

The Father delights when we turn to Him to present our concerns and needs. However, we must be clear that we must present ourselves before the Father with a sincere and willing heart, first to worship him and then to present our personal requests.

The important thing is that we must ask for specific things and not adorn the prayers with much conversation. Then, you will ask yourself: How can I ask God for specific things?

Many biblical passages challenge believers to ask God for very specific things. Read these familiar verses to remember how important it is to ask God for what you need. God expects you to ask!

• In Gibeon, the Lord appeared to Solomon one night while he slept and said: "Ask what you want me to give you" (1 R 3: 5).

• Jesus said: "And whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive" (Mt 21:22).

• Jesus said: "So far you have not asked for anything in my name; ask, and you will receive, so that your joy may be fulfilled" (Jn 16:24).

• "If any of you lacks wisdom, ask God, who gives you all abundantly and without reproach, and it will be given. But ask with faith, without doubting anything; because he who doubts is similar to the wave of the sea , which is dragged by the wind and thrown from one part to another "(Stg 1: 5-6).

If we synthesized these verses, we would find some very clear and concise principles that apply to our requests:

• God wants us to ask him to meet all our needs.
• God delights in revealing his desires and his way of doing things.
• We can ask God about anything, including everything related to the natural world.
• We are wise if we ask according to others.
• We should always ask in faith and in the name of Jesus.
• God will respond to our need, but not in a manner contrary to his commandments, but in a way that pleases and glorifies him.
• We can be sure that every time we ask God for something, He listens to us and answers us, giving us precisely what we need; That may not be what we think we need, but it will always result in our greatest benefit.

The Bible tells us: "You don't have what you want, because you don't ask" (Stg 4: 2). Why have you stopped asking God in your life?
