Greetings, dear brother of Steemchurch. Let's review Caleb's audacity profile and what we can learn from this teaching for our spiritual growth.
When ten Hebrew spies warned their compatriots that they did not even think about entering Canaan, the only ones who urged them to go forward with God were Joshua and Caleb.
Caleb's name means "bold, impetuous," and this friend of Joshua was certainly bold. Caleb had such a strong faith that he did not even dissuade himself from the towering giants who lived in Hebron (No. 13; Jos 14: 6-12). This man believed the Lord when very few believed him, and he was not afraid to claim the promise that God had given to Israel. However, the hearts of the people were filled with fear and due to their disbelief they had to endure four whole decades in the desert.
Despite this, Caleb's faith was not discouraged. He continued to trust that God was going to train them to take possession of Canaan, and never changed his mind. In truth, Caleb had a whole heart, because he obeyed the Spirit of God.
We all need to follow his example. Let's make sure we have a complete faith and a surrendered heart like Caleb, because only then can we face the giants that lie ahead and claim the victory that God has already given us.
Blessed .......!
