Language is bipartisan. If Plato is right, and holding two conflicting thoughts at once is a sign of intelligence, then there are many unintelligent people running around these days. People who accept their tribes entire doctrine, just for believing in a single ethos. Tribalism is rampant, in all tribes these days. I am unvaxxed, but I think the vaccine works. I believe in a global elite cabal, but I believe Putin is committing war crimes. And BTW, just because someone else does it, doesn't make it right. Justifying one's actions by blaming another for doing the same, is avoiding responsibility.

If we want to become better people, we have to stop looking for the validation of our tribe by conforming without thinking, and start finding a tribe where we are not coerced to hold opinions just because others do.
And if you can't find a tribe you completely agree with, start your own, and find others who agree with you.
