Unfortunately I don't think it has anything to do with a buyer, 2 hours ago BTC just spiked hard and did a darth maul of $300 in both directions.

When BTC is bearish and it spikes in a odd way, all alts do these mini spikes because the BTC price spikes up.

This really unfortunately is not a sign of "buyer interest" in the HIVE native token.
