People come and go in our lives but true friends always engraved at our hearts. Jim Rohn quoted, You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with. These beautiful ladies whom I will be featuring today bring colors to my life. We have common ground which is eating ahaha partly it is, but the biggest chunk of our friendship comes along with laughters, tears ,ups and downs. I unwrapped the gift of friendship that will lasts forever. It is good to know there is someone who’s rejoicing with you in triumph and crying with you during adversities.
After giving so much thought what makes our friendship flourished and stand the test of time, I've come up with some key of maintaining a quality friendship such as follows:
C-ommunication
This is to strengthen the bond and be updated in each one's life. Social media is another medium but personal interaction still recommended. The presence of each one is an indication that you all value the friendship. It needs to be nurtured and watered with openness and honest conversation. It pays to schedule meet ups at least every quarter.
A-cceptance
Being real with who we are and accept each others weaknesses. It doesn’t need to conceal identities. Lasting friendship cannot be portrayed with false images.
R-espect
We have different beliefs but we respect each other. Avoiding others to feel inferior and respect each others decision.
E -quality
There no contempt, it is wholly thinking of welfare for each one. We are all equal, there is no superiority among us.
Our friendship thrives because we CARE.
As a final thought;
Hang out with the right people to become a better person or influence them to become better.
