Project Information

  • Title: Imorting Files From AnExplorer Gives a Report That Files Is Not Found

Expected behavior

Anexplorer happen to be a bit faster than my device filemanager, so I often use it to process actions involving files. I expected picking files with OpenArchive from an-explorer to work well.

Actual behavior

"Files not found" is the feedback I get when I pick files from AnExplorer, as a medium to import files to OpenArchive.

How to reproduce

  • Download and Install open-archives from fdroid.org

  • Now download and install AnExplorer

  • Launch open-archives and grant it the necessary permissions required.

  • Locate a floating plus (+) button at the bottom right corner of the home page

  • Click on the button to toggle the icons

  • Select "import" from the labelled list of floating icons, which is the first icon from the top.

  • You will be provided with the various mediums possible, to complete the task.

  • Select AnExplorer from the menu and locate a file.

  • Click on the file to complete importation

  • On returning to OpenArchive interface, you should get a feedback that file wasn't found.

  • Browser/App version: V0.0.17 alpha 1

  • Operating system: Android v6.0 marshmallow.

  • Device: Itel p12

  • Chipset: Spread
