Expected behavior
The buttons with this issue are shortcuts to basic features on facebook. Considering that the features are present in both normal and low data mode, I expected the icons to work in both modes.
Actual behavior
When low data mode is activated, the buttons for post a status post a photo and check in are not functional, instead they direct you to the homepage or refresh it, if you were already on the homepage.
How to reproduce
Download, install and launch MATERIALFBOOK from fdroid.org
Click on the three vertical dashes located at the upper left corner of the interface, to launch the side drawer.
To activate low data mode
Navigate down the -drawer list and click on -settings.
On the -settings page, locate "Low data mode" toggle, in the general section just a few slides down the settings page.
Toggle the option "ON"
To test the buttons
Navigate back to the start page and log into the app with your facebook details
Once logged in, you should arrive at the home page
Now try the floating icons by clicking on the floating button located at the bottom right corner of the interface. The icons should be visible and accessible.
