I go by Solomon George, I was born on the 12th of september. I am a native of Akwa-Ibom state in Nigeria, West Africa.

Translation:

I am a student. Currently in my first year, studying Mechanical Engineering in the University Of Akwa-Ibom state, Nigeria.
In my spare time, I take up training in programming languages and I have succeeded in mastering the basics.

Translation:

I dey study Mechanical engineering, for Akwa Ibom state university and I dey my first year. When I get free time, I dey use am learn programming language, and as e be, I done already sabi the basic things.

I wish to apply for the role of a Translator for utopian.io. I see this opportunity as a means to exercise my translation skills to the benefit of those who find it difficult to comprehend English language in writing. Being a major assistance to them in simplifying the ideas of projects or publications that are based on both simple and complex English language.
My language of preference is the Nigerian Pidgin. I shall be translating from English Language to Nigerian Pidgin if I am given the opportunity to join the category.
I grew up in a location where the occupants interact mainly in Nigerian pidgin. I learnt to speak and write in the said language while growing up and I can boldly say I have become good at it, and my span of experience is a life time.

My Experience

This won't be my first time translating for the utopian brand or contributing in general to the platform. I have translated and actually made a good impression with my skills before the category was temporarily shut down for specific reasons.
