Hello beautiful people. In the course of life, events will repeat themselves, not necessarily identically but in the same fashion. Such as someone making you angry or behaving in a way that depicts they want you to get angry. In the past, you would react by actually getting angry and saying something you would probably regret. Sometimes, you may go as far as complaining and everyone around you will laugh at your silly behavior.
In the present, when such similar event occurs and you remain calm and collected, you address the issue with little words as possible while maintaining poise and character, it boils down to your maturity.
You have grown beyond complaining about the same things you used to complain about, you have grown beyond expressing anger in action, rather you speak while suppressing any anger that may cause damage to your reputation. If it comes to the brink of it, you take a walk and leave. Either you exit the situation physically or mentally.
It may be responsibility, in the past, you broke a plate or took what didn't belong to you, you would hide and point fingers at someone else and pretend innocence, but now, you own up to your mistakes, and you seek ways to reconcile, and remedy them. If you got the girl pregnant, you stand by her, if your child passes or fails, you stand by them, if things don't go your way, you don't mumble and grunt. You let others do what they want and you do yours as well.
Maturity will help you steer clear of unnecessary drama and most importantly, maturity doesn't stop you from goofing around and playing and having fun, what it does is that it cautions you from the character of doing too much of anything.
Another thing to keep in mind is the pit fall of over-maturity. You are so mature you become an old man at 30. Every small discussion you have with someone, you begin to advice, and telling them life stories. Hey, calm it down, life is not that serious.
Be the standard.
