Good day beautiful family of God. Trust you all are doing great today. Glory to God. Yesterday we stopped at where Noah offered burnt offering to God and it was a sweet smelling savour and God promised not to destroy the earth anymore. We will continue from where we stopped. Moving on to chapter nine of the book of Genesis...
9:1-2 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered.
So now, God had delivered all creature to the hands of Noah and his family just like He did with Adam and Even at the beginning. He gave then dominion over every moving creature on earth. How beautiful can that be for God to put one in charge of all these. Amazing.
9:3-5 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat. And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man.
Wow God also provided food for them. He is God, our provider. Now they can have access to every living creature for food and every plant also except man. Its true that God gave then dominion but He forbad them from killing themselves for food and He promised to ask them if anyone does this meaning that their blood is upon themselves and they have to take care of themdelves with diligence. Moving on to verse nine...
9:9 And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you. And with every living creature that is with you, of the fowl, of the cattle, and of every beast of the earth with you; from all that go out of the ark, to every beast of the earth.
God established His covenant with Noah, his family and all living creature on earth. He promised them that all flesh shall never be cut off again by flood like He just did. God also promised that I whenever He brings a cloud over the earth, that He will always remember the covenant He made with them. Rounding up with verse 17, God told Noah that what He has promised is the token of the covenant He made between them and all flesh that is upon the earth with them at that time. May God remember us for good in Jesus name. Amen.
Thanks so much for reading...
