In the course of my interactions with so many other minnows like myself on Steemit, I’ve heard them complain of not being able to count or think of any tangible benefit that they’ve enjoyed since joining the platform.

This saddens me because I know that they’re all thinking the same old thing… the financial rewards… not the added opportunity to learn something new, cool and possibly life changing every day.

In my previous entry for the Steemit Ultimate Challenge, I stated how Steemit has helped me improve my life experiences financially in terms of ;

• My newly-acquired hunger for knowledge of the world of cryptocurrencies.

• An ability and opportunity to communicate with people from other parts of the world for both professional and personal reasons.

• The opportunity to learn various things that once seemed trivial to me and to become a bit of an expert in stuff like distinguishing between original honey and the adulterated ones, amazing macro photography techniques and so much more…

This post is an update to that initial essay I wrote about my personal outlook on the benefits I’ve enjoyed since joining Steemit.

LIFE COMMUNICATIONS (UPDATE)

On a somewhat melancholic and regretful note, I’m sorry to say that my communications with that my young-adult fantasy Brazilian bombshell I mentioned earlier is currently on the rocks (lol!).

Actually, it’s not as funny as I’m trying to make it sound but hopefully, we can find our way back to each other again. We still do talk occasionally on the Discord app, though once in a while … but I’m still keeping my fingers crossed on fulfilling that dream!

I’ve gained even more friends here though, mostly on Discord and I’ve had the pleasure of chatting with some of the most respected guys on Steemit… like exyle@exyle, commenting on their informative Dtube or Steemit posts or chatting with them on WhatsApp or Discord.

Also, February 2nd was my birthday and from my Steemit earnigs, I was able to take some very close friends of mine out that day, just to have some fun. We ended up at the Ibom Tropicana, a Multipurpose Funtainment Centre, as they like to call it here.

I enjoyed that outing so much as I played videogames, shot some pool (Snooker), took a ride on the VR rollercoaster machine (the next time I get to do that, it’ll be the real thing… I promise!).

It was indeed a day I’ll always cherish for the longest time as I hadn’t been able to celebrate or mark my birthday in such fun-filled and memorable way in well over ten years!

... So thank you so much for that, Steemit.

FINANCIAL COMMUNICATIONS (UPDATED)

I’ve learned so much about crypto currencies and Forex Trading in general this past week that I strongly believe that I’d make a better investor in Steem, Bitcoin, Ethereum and other potentially valuable crypto currencies.

I have learned some of the basics and strategies behind crypto currency investing, what to look out for to deduce good investments from bad ones…and more importantly, when to hold on to your investments when things aren’t going well (just Bitcoin and to an extent is doing right now.

I intend to buy more Steem because know it will come good in the long run. Just need to earn a lot more SBD as soon as possible to make that happen.

As for my copywriting, digital branding and marketing services, my very first major earnings on Steemit came as a result of commenting on other people’s posts. I was very happy with that and I believe there’s more coming my way (in a few days from now at least.) I can’t wait to get started and my sincere appreciation goes to @ T****** for the fantastic referral.

At the end of the day, all of these probably wouldn’t have happened if not for my being a Steemian … So thanks to Steemit as well.

BUSINESS COMMUNICATIONS (UPDATED)

Former US President once said “think not what your country can do for you, but rather, think of what you can do for your country.”

I use this quote as a source of personal inspiration to me … because in such a very short time, I have gained so much from Steemit, for which I am grateful. That is why I have decided to give a little something back.

Presently, I am in the process of using my valuable experience, creativity, and skills in brand copywriting to create a unique but memorable brand slogan foe every single member website in the Steemit family.

Seems a tad too ambitious? Maybe it is.

But I want to do this because it is a totally undeniable fact that the top companies of the world, whether in the social media industry or in every other brand, product, service, or niche-based firm … worth more than its weight in gold, has a memorable slogan.

Remember Nike’s ”Just Do it “ tagline?

An outstanding platform like Steemit, which strives to encourage, promote and reward its millions of contributors out there on a daily basis, deserves to have a fantastic, unique and memorable brand slogan… so the world will always recognize and remember Steemit for what it stands for.

So , starting from next week, Every Steemit based website m(Dtube, Dmania, Busy.org, Utopian etc ) will each be getting an amazing brand slogan from me.

I for one cannot wait to get started in the coming days. For everyone out there reading this post right now, keep an eye out for those slogans for our beloved Steemit from me.

EDUCATIONAL COMMUNICATIONS

My inner drive to learn and gather life-changing info from Steemit has not waned in any way. In the last one week, my time spent on Steemit has enabled me to learn;

• Simple but sure ways to have a strong, immune body system (thanks to you @Jwolf).

• The origins, contents, nutritional benefits and processes involved in making tasting beer (personally hope to brew my own beer someday… Thanks to you frost04@frost04)
.
• How to improve your retention ability and learn something new ten times faster than before (Thanks to charismoaon@charismoaon)

• Learning to let go and save your emotional state of mind( many thanks to travel-cuisine@travel-cuisine)

• The diabetes-inducing dangers of using artificial sweeteners(a gazillion thanks to you graviton@graviton).

Thanks to you too dobartim@dobartim . Your post in particular on why Steemians should not worry so much about the prevailing falling trend last week, concerning the price of cryptocurrencies, Steem in particular.

It opened my eyes to what, why and who is responsible for the general downward slide of most crypto currencies and gave a lot of us so much hope that everything we minnows on Steemit do and all the great work guys like you at the very top have been doing for so long will not be in vain.

Thanks so much for your encouraging wise words ans selfless actions and contests on the Steemit platform.

Steemit still continues to help me expand my personal, financial, and educational life experiences. I can only hope that very soon, I will be in a stronger position to give back to the Steemit community and help more of my fellow Steemian irrespective of race, color, religion or location.. to help improve their lives as well.
