When I woke up, the first thing my brother said to me was "you'll go to the market and cook o" I stared at him like he stole my food, he asked why I was staring and I told him he had successfully kidnapped the "joy that comes in the morning" how will someone just respond to your morning greeting with that.
Few hours later, I got to the market and started my purchase.
It really is expensive buying meat these days, especially goat meat, they'll cut 4 small pieces and call it 1000 naira ($2.33), I bought 3500 naira's worth ($ 8.16), I also bought a few other ingredients like kpomo (cow skin), fish, pepper and tomato.
When I finished buying the food ingredients, I got new gas burner stands for 1,800 naira each as the one at home was broken.
