After a one night stand with phillipe, a french gigolo (played ) , uptight Lily (played by Kimberly Leemans) is 8 months pregnant and has to include phillipe in her baby's life but he is an irresponsible mushroom addict with an "I don't care" attitude. Lily and phillipe don't get along so well, in order to understand each other, they visit a therapist who gives them a pamphlet recommending a nature getaway at a remote cabin.
At the cabin, phillipe finds a magic box that mysteriously swap their souls and they have to solve all the riddles to get back their bodies while trying to understand each other as a parent.
The acting seemed fake and forced, it's said to be a comedy but I found most part of it annoying, I admit I laughed at some points. The cast were not up to a handful and I feel they were did poorly.
I usually don't fall asleep while watching comedies but this one induced sleep that I had to use two days to complete it.
The most interesting part to me was when Lily decided to arrange and set goals. I found that interesting because I usually do that whenever I want to get serious with something or when I'm trying to figure out a disturbing thought.
I feel phillpe's character was too much, there was just too much activity going on with him that was a bit irrelevant.
Lily too had her character flaws but it was not as bad as phillipe's over-the-top french accent.
The crew could have done better with the script and cast. A bad attempt at soul swapping, the only movie I've watched about soul swapping that cannot be replaced is "Secret Garden".
This is my entry to cine tv contest, movies that made you fall asleep
