Hello great Steemians. I’m happy to be here once again for the continuation of the series I started some months back titled "GREAT QUOTES FROM A MENTOR". I actually went on a break for sometimes now in as far as this series is concern. But now I am back to excite you, and encourage you with more quotes from my great mentor.
Lest I forget, I will like to appreciate you all, and love to say am so honored and happy to see that we are actually inspired by the past chapters of the series. Gracias!
Do you honestly know that, any time I write any chapter of this series, I also get inspired to do more because of what I learn while writing? Yeah! I do. And the fact that people have told me how inspired and motivated they are after reading it was enough as encouragement for me to do more. I’m not also surprise hearing this, because the wisdom in the word of God can never be caged, chained or tamed. His words are new every time. So, I will just say thank you for reading it all the time and know that you are next in line for a miracle. (Amen)

Now back to our quotes for this chapter:
1.Who you are is your choice and who you want to be is your responsibility.
When your parent gives your inheritance to you as at when due, the ability to do the same to your own children lies in your hands. Remember they might not live long enough to monitor how you transfer it to your own children, so the choice you make at the end is your RESPONSIBILITY.
2. A life opportunity must be ceased in the life time of that opportunity.
-meaning that opportunities are transient in nature i.e. it can be missed. It can come unannounced. This shows that only those that are prepared for it will be able to effectively and efficiently utilize it. You must be prepared both in season and out of season. No room for slacking.
You cannot afford to waste that opportunity because you might not see it again if you miss it now.

3. Honor is a seed for access. When you honor those that deserve to be honored then you will enjoy unprecedented access in your dealings.
-meaning honor should be a life-style for anyone that craves for it. You should give it if you want it. Just like the saying that “respect is reciprocal”. When you honor the people that should be honored, then you will automatically get honored without struggling for it. People around you will desire to honor you with ease.
A man that cannot give honor is a man that will never attain some height in life. Giving honor open some doors (access) to you, and it makes your environment to favor you without you requesting for it. If you so much desire some level of access then give honor to whom honor is due.
4. In scheme of life, nobody gives a seat to anyone. You are the one that will create a seat for yourself.
-meaning you have to be up and doing if you want to make something good out of your life. Success does not come on a platter of gold. It involves serious handwork and lot of preparation. Only when you are prepared will you find a seat that is vacant for which you can occupy. If you occupy a seat without proper preparation, failure is evitable. This is the reason why some leaders failed.
5. You can be lost in a crowd but not in a family. And you can also be lonely in a crowd but not in a family.
-meaning there is relevance and importance in belonging to a group of individuals that share the same belief system with you. You will always feel protected and loved anytime you are in that environment. The word “Family” in this instance does not mean your immediate family. It could be coming together of people with the same goals and objectives i.e. sharing something important in common.
Your own people will always watch your back no matter the situation, even if you are the one at fault, just know that you are still safe. That is what you get when you belong to a group where you watch each other’s back. Is just like the popular saying “one for all and all for one”.
6. No matter how difficult or hard the economy of the jungle is, a Lion will never eat grass.
-meaning can you be trusted to hold tight and not compromise even when things are not going right? Do you mind being the only one standing for a course even when others are not supporting you? Can you uphold the truth even when the majority chose to be deceitful? What are you known for? All the above questions simply explain who you are in the face of problems. You should still be “YOU” irrespective of what is ahead of you.
When the going is tough, the tough are known to maintain their stand and never compromise, even if it will involve losing their lives, they just keep going. The never allow the pressure of the present to affect the future.
7. Life is not measured by acquisition but by contribution to human race positively.
-meaning adding value to life by making impact where necessary is the true definition of accomplishment and fulfillment. By having this I, Me, and myself mentality is an example of an insecure personality who does not believes in helping others. There is more to life than just seeking to be wealthy by all means, without thinking of how to live a life of impact. You can acquire everything and still not find fulfillment. So, be careful of what you are doing now, tomorrow is very close.
At this juncture, I will like to drop my golden pen on this particular chapter, and kindly look forward to the next chapter.
