Many are we that complain bitterly when things go wrong. Many are we that do not want to here the word "Lose" or "failure" in lives, but we would always accept gains, and things that make us happy all the time. It is very true that to lose something is very painful. We should also remember God also created both words: "Lose" and "gain!"

The simple question that came to my mind after a friend has lost all his belongings through fire outbreak, and was complaining bitter that he is nothing on this earth again since he has lost all his property within brink of an eye is: "so lose and gain are they intertwined?

According to the Cambridge English Dictionary, the word " Intertwine" is explained as: "to twist or be twisted together, or to be connected so as to be difficult to separate." If that is so, to my point of view "lose" and "gain" are closely connected so as to be difficult to separate them. They move together in our live, if one does not occur, the other one must occur.

However, in life we prefer to see more of gains than to lose. We only want to taste the sweet portion of life, while neglecting the bitter portion. And this cannot be possible that throughout ones life time he or she did not incur losses. As far as we are humans, losses may come our ways as we receive much gains in life. It is not all the time that our lives would be full of happiness. Some of the losses may be out of our own negligence or mistakes, that we often make in life. Like my friend whose house was burnt, it might his own mistake that cause the fire outbreak which led him into this disaster.

We aren't saying that all the time are mistake cause us into trouble but at some situations we may also cause losses. We still remember the story of Job(Job 1:1-22). That incidence was purely the plan of the devil to tempt mankind on his or her faith. But later, Job was successful, since he endured in the pain. He did not complain bitterly, all that he said was "is God gave and God has taken, blessed be to God name!"(Job 1:21b). At the end, Job received abundance of blessings out of these losses he had. And this story must tell us that both "Lose and Gain" are intertwined, as you lose your property or precious thing in life, you will one day get it back, even in abundance.

What we should remember is that, God said He would not allow temptation which beyond our capacity, ability or strength come in our lives, whether He is the causal or the devil. At times it very painful to lose; whether your job, property or your child, but in all, we must endure the pain and leave everything in prayers. Some of the things are beyond are capacity to solve or do something about it. It is God who has the mighty hands can deliver us from all our iniquities in this life. One most precious thing is to always build our faith in God. The moment our faith fade off from God, we get trapped by the devil for us to lose at certain point in life.

We thank each and everyone hard work for the expansion of SteemChurch Telos and Telos Village, may the Lord continue to bless everybody, Amen!
