That is my ALL TIME Fav configuration I use with my 3x3 DDTarp. On my hikes/camps I use a tent/tarp combination, but in terrible weather I will only use the tarp. As you say, it's all about retaining body heat and a tent has too much wasted space. Nice informative video :-)
