The StaFi_Protocol team has successfully developed rETH solution to the liquidity of ETH2.0 staking which has extensively enabled stakers and validators to participate with ease in ETH staking pool.
According to Ethereum 2.0, stakers is required to run validator nodes which makes it mandatory for stakers to acquire much knowledge about nodes before hosting a validator client. Validator nodes must maintain high uptime and double signing must be avoided. All these must be properly managed to avoid stakers missing out on their rewards.
Also, Capital intensive pose a major threat for stakers, because any stakers that want to participate in the staking pool must prepare a minimum of 32ETH before taking part in staking. This makes it difficult for stakers holding less than 32ETH to participate in the staking pool.
Stafi_protocol has provided a solution for both stakers and validators in that Stakers can take part in ETH staking through the staking contract deployed on Ethereum 1.0 by StaFI_protocol, so Instead of commuting to the amount given by Ethereum Foundation, stakers would only need as little as 0.01ETH or any amount of own choice to participate in the ETH staking pool.
Stakers do not necessarily need to run validators nodes and spend their time maintaining them. The StaFi_protocol contract deployed on Ethereum 1.0 will automatically match the staker's ETH to high performing validators that are available.
And for the validators, Stafi_protocol will provide staked ETH in staking contract to a batch of well-performing validators, who would run and maintain the appropriate amount of validators nodes to provide staking rewards to stakers net of fees.
Stafi has also helped in solving the liquidity dilemma for both Stakers and validators, which means, whenever a staker stakes ETH to the staking contract, such staker will automatically receive a certain amount of rETH Token (ERC20 version) in return, which is a representation of the stakers staked ETH balance and corresponding staking rewards. The rETH token reward which can be traded on a variety of trading venues and can also be used in other DeFi protocol.
About Stafi Protocol
Stafi is the first DeFi protocol unlocking liquidity of staked assets. Users can stake PoS tokens through Stafi and receive rTokens in return, which are available for trading, while still earning staking rewards. FIS is the native token on Stafi Chain. FIS is required to provide security to the network by staking, pay for transaction fees on the Stafi chain, and mint & redeem rTokens.
