View through a frame

White crisp lines

I spend a lot of my time looking at views through frames. The white uPVC window frames that frame my view of the sky as I look out of the window from my drawing desk. The metallic frame of the car that frames the countryside as we journey along the road. The concrete and metal pillars that frame the buildings and views as we walk through the city.

Today's image is framed with the white crisp lines of the paper peering through the blue oil pastel strokes.


Wisps of blue suggest the face of an observer, confined by the white borders.
