A morning portrait
I sat at my drawing desk drinking my coffee this morning, and beginning my daily sketching. As I sat drawing and working through a few ideas a new character arrived on my page, 'Madame S'. She was created in pencil, then ink and oil pastels. She sits proudly, with coiffed red hair and rouge tint on her lips.

I have grown rather fond of 'Madame S', and I imagine she may be appearing as one of the characters in some of my future paintings, keep an eye out for her.
