Baroness of the bones

Say hello to the baroness

This morning I've been working on a painting that is to be the partner to a skull I started a couple of days ago. This colourful skull character is a baroness and she has impeccable taste. This is the second skull design in a new series I'm doing, so expect a few more characters in the coming months.

The skull is drawn out in pencil on paper, before using watercolours to apply layers of colour and detail.


She is still a work in progress and their is a little more detail to add to this piece digitally before I reveal to you her full name, but for now we will just call her the Baroness.
