People would be wondering why Harry Kane's goal was disallowed but the fact is that it's not a goal because he was at the offside, his knee has passed the opponent, so it's a foul. Those that always watch premier would be wondering why such goals stands in premier league and it's because the English FA has give rule to their referees that such goals should stand because they need many goals in premier league this season but Tottenham Hotspur vs Sporting CP played Champions League, not premier league, so the VAR really checked it and saw it very well that Harry Kane was at the offside. But they funniest part of the match was Antonio Conte's action that sent him off.
The canceled goal came up when Sporting CP has already give up and Tottenham Hotspur was working tirelessly to pack 3 points and qualify for round of 16 just like Chelsea but with the draw, they have to win their next champions league match or else, they may not be the first on the table. Even if they would be the first, if they had win the match, they might think of resting player next week but they dare not because they shared points with Sporting CP. Sporting should have even leave the 3 points for Tottenham Hotspur because their mentality didn't show that they would last long to be more than the round of 16 even if they qualify.
I think Sporting CP coach hate it when opponent reach their goal post because he couldn't look at the gaol pole when Tottenham Hotspur equalised the goal and still did the same action when Harry Kane scored the cancelled goal, so he has already lost faith in his players that they can do it due to the way they played. When Tottenham Hotspur attacked them, they were forced to play rubbish and through wring passes then still loose the chances they had because they had chance as well and later they all turned to defenders, work out corner kick for Tottenham Hotspur. They let the pressure weigh on them till extend that they forgot the style that they were playing.
Nothing pains than removing the goal that you thought it has stand and that is what caused Antonio Conte's action, he thought the 3 points has stand and qualified for round it 16 but it didn't stand and he vowed to remind them if two big clubs plays and such goals is counted for them and that is when he would talk, but to me, he may be suspended if he talk because UEFA would claim that he talk what he's not suppose to talk and he would be penalised. But the fact is that the goal can't stand because we both see that it's an offside but because it didn't favour Tottenham, that is what caused his action. If it is in favour of Tottenham Hotspur, Conté won't even talk.
