Sevila are ready to release Jules Koundé, they have reduce the price from 69 million pounds which they really want to sell him to 56 million pounds. Chelsea and Barcelona are the ones that are really on him but Jules Koundé prefer Barcelona more than Chelsea, he said he would have playing time at Barcelona more than Chelsea and this would help him have playing time at France. Although Barcelona is far mightier than Chelsea, although that one doesn't matter, what matters is the presence, Chelsea are doing well than Barcelona now but we still can't compare Barcelona's success with Chelsea's success.
If we want to talk about market value of a player, to talk about sponsorship, the way the sponsors would talk to Barcelona would be different from the way they would talk to Chelsea. For a player to be a Barcelona player, even if he won't always play, such player would always have play chance at his country. But Chelsea is so much in need of a defender, he would definitely have playing time at Chelsea, maybe he don't want to go to Chelsea, that is why he is giving such excuse, just to convince people if they ask him why he joined Barcelona ahead of Chelsea.

Laporte has played for France in his childhood age but as France didn't call him to National team, then he is now playing for Spain, of which he can play for Argentina and France because he's a citizen of the two countries, so Jules Koundé's excuse isn't a genuine one.
If we look at the calibre of players that are in Chelsea, didn't they play for their country's national team? Even the gaps that is in between Chelsea and Barcelona isn't much, Barcelona has been existing for ages but Chelsea is still new, not existing for long like Barcelona, so there's probability for Chelsea to have more victory like Barcelona do, and there's no much gap in the club, it's not even Tottenham Hotspur that never win anything that called Koundé, it's Chelsea.
