Hola mi amigo en la distancia, hoy sentado mientras me tomaba un descanso de mi trabajo habitual y analizando aspectos que no le prestamos algunas veces tanta atención en la vida, quiero hablarte de los amigos invisibles y con esto no quiero irme a lo espiritual , lo musical o lo fantástico de los amigos imaginarios, sino de esas personas reales que sostienen el mundo desde las sombras, sin esperar reconocimiento ni aplausos.

Parece algo ilógico en un mundo donde todo parece girar alrededor de la visibilidad, los seguidores y los “likes”, sin embargo, ser invisible puede parecer un fracaso para muchos, pero en realidad la invisibilidad puede ser un acto de humildad, vocación y servicio. El amigo invisible no busca protagonismo, su recompensa está en el acto mismo de dar, y eso, aunque no se vea, se siente en el alma.

Recuerdo una experiencia que me marcó profundamente: Hace unos años viajé a un pequeño pueblo costero y conocí a una mujer mayor llamada Carmen, ella no aparecía en ninguna foto turística ni en los folletos del lugar, pero cada mañana salía con una escoba y limpiaba la calle principal, recogía basura y saludaba a todos con una sonrisa, sin esperar ningún beneficio a cambio de parte de alguno de los que se encontraban cera. Un día le pregunté por qué lo hacía y me respondió: “Porque si yo no lo hago, nadie lo hará. Y si nadie lo hace, el pueblo se entristece, Yo quiero que la gente se sienta feliz al caminar por aquí.”

Quizá mientras lees esto pienses en alguien cercano: un familiar que siempre está ahí, un amigo que te escucha sin juzgar, o incluso un desconocido que te ayudó en un momento difícil. Y aquí es donde nos encontramos en ese puente que quiero tender entre tú y yo: donde reconocer juntos que lo invisible también nos sostiene, que detrás de cada logro, de cada sonrisa, hay alguien que aportó silenciosamente algo de su tiempo o de su vida, para que eso fuera posible.

Ahora amigo mío que lees estas palabras, desde una mirada más holística, los amigos invisibles representan la energía del dar y recibir, son como hilos invisibles que tejen la red de la vida. Yo mismo he descubierto que cuando hago algo sin esperar reconocimiento, la satisfacción es más profunda, es como plantar una semilla y saber que algún día dará fruto, aunque nadie sepa que la sembraste tú, ya que en ese gesto silencioso hay una gratificación que no depende de la mirada externa, sino de la conexión interna con lo que somos.

She did not appear in any tourist photos or brochures about the place, but every morning she would go out with a broom and clean the main street, pick up trash, and greet everyone with a smile, without expecting anything in return from those around her.
