I guess it has been long since I last rendered any contribution on utopia because I've been choked up..but am back!

During my SWAP street campaign where I and my team walked on the streets of Uyo preaching the good news of steemit, I was faced with a question; "What kinda posts can you make on steemit?".

I was kinda too fast to answer: "Anything...you can actually post anything even porn and nude pictures..."

"What! Nude pictures? You're joking,..." they said.

Just when I was trying to help them register on steemit, they discovered its not limited to a certain age bracket. They queried me, trying to find out why... I couldn't give an answer as I actually don't think its cool..

If steemit is a social media that accommodates all sort of information like pornography and naked pictures, then it should be rated 18+. This is to ensure our kids attain the age of certain mental maturity before being exposed to certain information.

These are the steps for sign up...

There should be an age limit to steemit sign up dimmed fit even if its not 18+ as different countries and backgrounds has different age brackets regulating matured contents like the nsfw found on steemit.

Benefit

To ensure morality is not abused and the universe is still a safe place. When immature kids ar exposed to this, it could cause social vices like rape, etc as they lack the mental maturity.
