Two fake soldiers arrested for killing a police sergeant

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested to fake soldiers for killing a police sergant in Lagos.

The Nigerian Police Office via the Lagos State Police twitter handle made this known. In the tweet, the police wrote,

“Two fake/deserted soldiers have been arrested by the Police from Ilemba Division in connection with the murder of a Police Sergeant which occurred on 10/5/2020.”

“The first suspect was at the Station to solicit the release of his commercial bike which was impounded for flouting the ban on commercial bikes. Unhappy with the DPO’s refusal, he decided to launch an attack with his cohort, injuring the DPO and killing the Sergeant. They will be charged to court”, the police added.
