Hello everyone....
You know how life is, full of uncertainty, the good, the bad, the amazing, the worst and then someone just comes into it and everything changes...
They do not possess magical powers or anything but they sure make you feel some type of way because of how they are and something special they carry within them....
Over the last couple of weeks, I've spent my time painting ladies in different colours which signifies who they are and what they carry, I call these ladies "Charming Ladies"... It's just an idea that popped into my head and I decided to paint it out because that's all I love to do...
Her presence makes you feel powerful and wealthy just like a king or queen.
She inspires you to think deeply and fills you with wisdom to understand and unlock
your true self.
Painting process
I had a sketch but I painted directly on the sketch layer so I can't find it anymore, I make this mistake all the time....
I choose a base colour, I knew I wanted dark skin so I went for it. I personally feel purple has a lot to do with royalty so I picked it for the hair...
I played around with the blend modes and I got one that made the hair look like this and I liked it,I painted the eyes, nose and mouth...
Adding light and dark shades can be tricky but I think I've figured that part out with constant practice..
Adding the butterfly was just a thought that came into my mind, I tried it out and liked it, they are called nature's angels for a reason and I just love them...
I added the purple marks on her face and painted the background...
This is the final stage of the painting and I hope you like it
