Agreed, and thanks for the comment.

Where I am in South Louisiana the problem is that there is not enough trees, vegetation to hold the soil in place from the coastal erosion that is happening at an alarming rate. Planting more trees could help that, but soil from fresh water diversions from the Mississippi River need to replenish the marshes and swamps.

I always like reading articles like this one, what people are trying to do with tree plantings, it may help, it may not, but interesting nevertheless....
