The Governing Council has tasked the relevant Eurosystem Committees with examining options, including ways to reinforce its forward guidance on policy rates, mitigating measures, such as the design of a tiered system for reserve remuneration, and options for the size and composition of potential new net asset purchases," the ECB said in a statement.
Interesting article about how the ECB might need more easing of its monetary policy. How much more easing can they do, and what do they think the benefits will be at this point? They been trying the same song and dance for the last 10 years. It's a shame, Europe was once a region of great prosperity, I wouldn't move there now to start a business. And anyone living there should have a large amount of their money outside of the Euro, who knows how low they'll push it down to.....
