Ducks Unlimited is working to restore 2,550 acres of coastal marsh approximately 2.5 miles northeast of Buras, Louisiana.
Interesting article about a coastal restoration project in South Louisiana. This is really good news as South Louisiana needs more of these. It'll convert open water to wetlands, great for all the wildlife that depends on it. The article doesn't mention the cost, I'd imagine it's a lot of money though. Ducks Unlimited does a lot for the environment, worth supporting.....
