Governments and corporations have never looked after the welfare of the people, that is absolutely true. I always say that the market only protects two types of people, the powerful and the skilled; and since the powerful are the governments and those who have money, we can only be part of the skilled ones, those of us who learn to move according to the laws of supply and demand in the markets.
