We have reached the final part of our Umrah journey. After Mecca, we moved on to Medina. To be honest, Medina left me with a very different feeling. It was a calmer, more peaceful, and more serene place. It was as if it had a way of slowing down one's inner self. That's why describing this place is very special to me.
The first thing that caught my attention when we arrived in Medina was the order and tranquility. The crowds of Mecca were not here. People were walking slower, the environment was quieter. Even this changes one's mood. Our hotel was very close to the Prophet's Mosque. We could reach it in a few minutes on foot. This was a great convenience because we had the opportunity to go back and forth frequently during the day. The Prophet's Mosque is truly an impressive place. Its size, cleanliness, and order are awestruck. When I first entered, I stood there for a long time looking around. Every detail was very meticulous. The lights, the columns, the carpets… They were all beautiful in their own way. But most importantly, it was the spiritual atmosphere there. One feels an inner peace.
The weather was also very nice. It wasn't too hot or too cold. It was perfect for walking. So I went outside often. I walked around the mosque. I tried to look at it from different angles. It was beautiful in the morning and beautiful in the evening. Especially in the evening, when the lights came on, the atmosphere became even more impressive.
The time we spent in Medina was actually very short. We only stayed for two nights and three days. But despite that, it was very fulfilling. I wished we could have stayed longer. Because one gets used to this place. In fact, it's a little hard to leave.
This trip was an unforgettable experience for me. Medina was the most peaceful stop on this journey. If I ever have the opportunity to come again, I would come without hesitation.
Now all that remains are beautiful memories. Photos, videos, and most importantly, feelings… And I know that these feelings will stay with me for a long time.
