If anyone can hear this, don't come looking for us. That is the eerie sound I heard from a small sound recorder I found in the floor when I am going down the subway to get to my work. The sound recorder is on the side of the wall near the comfort room, and it is really hard to notice it unless you carefully look on the floor as the sound recorder is quite small and its color blends well with the flooring. At first, I do not know what to do with it since it is a very old sound recorder model and my first impression that it may not be working anymore because it is covered in dust and I am not sure if it is going to turn on.
Nevertheless, I carry that sound recorder with me and while waiting for the train to arrive I tried to flick the switch on the side surprisingly it made a static sound. I thought nothing of it since it just a static sound and after a few seconds I can hear a soft sound saying, 'If anyone can hear this, don't come looking for us'. I was shocked when I heard those words, the voice feels like it comes from a group of male kids and after those words I can hear some panting in the background and then the static sound reoccurs. I tried to play the sound again and to my surprise the sound recorder only plays the static sound and no matter how much I wait again for the message to be heard again, it did not happen and it just a plain static sound all throughout the end of the recording.
