Have you ever heard, how much revenue every single employee generates per year in the most effective companies ? Especially in the largest wolds tech corporations, which seem to be leading this metrics.
Leading is standard Apple employee, bringing in $1.9 million, but even the average AMD employee, which is only 20th on the list, still adding $521K to AMD coffers.
You may think then, that IT sector is a leading between all others in this respect. But the truth is a bit different.
Analysis shows that, by sector, the highest average revenue per employee ($1.78 million in 2016) has energy companies, double as much as healthcare companies ($880,000), sitting in the second place.
Industrial companies ($321K), as well as manufacturing consumer discretionaries ($424K) are much much lower.
The IT sector, in general being fairly labor-intensive too, is found somewhere near them with $484K average
