You love the question, but not enough to answer it! LoL

The reason I ask is because when I used to do emotional release work in California in the 90's it was apparent that a lot of people with childhood trauma experienced "sadness" as their surface emotion. But this was merely the cover to prevent them experiencing "anger" or "rage" which were the more relevant emotions but are heavily judged against in the family and society social milieaus. Until the deeper emotion is uncovered, felt, expressed and released, and then the ability to express that emotion is integrated and available to the person, when appropriate, in the future (instead of being bottled up/denied) then the abused individuals are shadows of what they could be :-)
