An interesting fact I learned about chickadees is that they are very good at assessing threats and will determine a person non-threatening as they see us go about our daily routines. It's hard to tell

That was actually the first time it stayed so it was perfect that I happened to be filming. The pecks are very light I'm not even sure if I feel anything. There's more weight in their feet on my finger

This is why I try not to get too attached to the animals. A month ago I watched a fox get one of the squirrels I feed. Snatched it right up with it's mouth and carried it off. Nature is a harsh place.
