This is my first time ever posting here. I've actually got something to say about music. Okay so earlier today,I was scrolling through some songs on YouTube and decided to randomly click an unknown song. To my surprise it was French.
The first thing that came to my mind that moment was to get the hell out cause I obviously couldn't understand anything. My thumb was few inches from tapping the exit button when the song started playing.
Heaven knows I felt oddly at rest, laid back and relaxed after a while. What I'm trying to say is; you don't need to understand what you're listening to for you to get affected by it, to understand it.
THE FIRST TUNE I CLICKED ON: JE TE LAISSERAI DES MOTS BY PATRICK WATSON.
This song is indeed a song for the soul. I didn't understand the music and at the same time could understand it,the sound and everything. There's this strange feeling people get when listening to something they don't understand. I was intrigued and at peace when listening to this. I kept getting mixed feelings. I couldn't understand anything, only heard and felt the tune. If I tried to decipher what the song was talking about I would say it's a love song, one about letting someone truly dear go. I may be wrong but who knows.
I haven't even checked the translation of the lyrics yet;)
THE SECOND TUNE: DERVIÈRE DANSE BY INDILA
Dervière Danse means Last Dance in English. Another song that would make you question the existence of words in music! You simply do not need to understand music to understand (If this makes any sense, which it probably doesn't)
THE THIRD & FINAL TUNE: LOVE STORY BY INDILA
~Music is life. That's why our hearts have beats~
This is another song to proof to you today that music is an emotion,an entire wave of it. An art that's invisible and undeniably beautiful. You can feel the sadness, content, happiness, peace, sorrow, etc in music. You can feel the emotions! Music makes you feel things. Things unknown.
FRENCH SONGS ARE BEAUTIFUL.
You definitely have to listen to these three tunes please. You won't regret it;the same way I didn't.
Merci(Thankyou),
Till next week♡.
